Autobots Rule!!!

Sorry...

Just had to say it!!

lol

My Second Childhood... :-)

It's great!!

Tonight I registered on ebay, and straightaway went to the toys section.

I should explain that I used to be OBSESSED by the amazing manly toys known as TRANSFORMERS. Every little lad worth his salt would know and love these icons of thrill and enjoyment., as they watched glued to the screen every saturday morning. Oh the memories, it takes me back....

Little Jm in his pj's, glad to be rid of school for another week, and settling into the conforting warmth of another kick-ass fight between Megatron and his evil bunch of clueless Decepticons, and Optimus prime and his (increasingly) wise and prepared Autobots...

Well... I used to have nearly every single Transformer, but had to give them away under duress by my Mum and Dad when I was 13... Little did they know how crucial they were to my development as a kid, how the Autobots taught me right and wrong, standing up for the good, showing mercy, and also how to seriously kick a bad guys butt... ;-)

I guess they were forcing me to grow up, they were worried I was still too childish at 13...

Part of me wishes they'd left me to them!! Ah well... now I can start building up my collection again, and at some fairly cheap prices too!!

It's gonna be a good week....

:-)

(I is smilin...)

Confuzzled...

I'm a bit perplexed tonight, by something someone said at church tonight...

I was preaching tonight on the sixth commandment, and afterwards someone shook my hand and said 'I didn't understand some of your sermon, but it was good'...

This provoked MANY questions for me afterwards when I got home...

1. If you didn't understand it how do you know it was good?

2. How can 'do not murder' be too intellectual?

3. Is the word 'precept' too hard to understand, even if I explained what it meant??

4. If I'm really unintelligble in a sermon, WHY did you let me carry on and waste your time on a Sunday night?

I know they were tryin to be helpful, but it really wasn't...

Virtues...

One I definitely don't have is patience!

Ok, so I haven't posted for ages, as well as having a browser problem, (see below) I haven't been well. For those of you who can't read... (actually why bother typing this if you can't read?! - Surreal thought)

Well ok then...

For those of you who hadn't realised, I have M.S. (Multiple Schlerosis is the 'official' title) The last month, I went for my usual check-up, and I'd had a sore back and was feeling a bit 'under the weather' as we brits say...

Well... apparently it was a bit more than that. Apparently I'd had a small 'relapse', and my sore back was the result of plaque ('scar tissue') building up on my spine, and not muscular as I thought. Also, I had been having hesitancy problems going to the loo, but I just thought 'hey ho, not drinking enough water, little infection'...

Wrong again.

My bladder is not receiving the right signals from my brain, (apparently a common problem with MS sufferers) with the result that I don't go as often as I should. After a bladder scan (a bit like an ultrasound, jelly an all) the nurse told me I had 200 ml of urine in my bladder and I should be feeling the need to go!!

Nope.

Normally not going as much as u used doesn't sound like a huge problem, but in my case, apparently if I don't empty my bladder enough, there'a risk the urine could go back into my kidneys and cause damage....

Great!!

So.... to cut a long story short, I'm on a new drug called Gabapentin to help my inflamation problem, and am drinking lot's of water an cranberry juice for my other one...

So, the moral of the story is... If you're an MS patient, NEVER go for a 'routine' check-up, otherwise you might get more than you bargained for....

Yours Druggedly...

I'm BACK!!!

I've had a problem with my browser for a while, finally solved it by getting Mozilla Firefox... What a WONDERFUL invention!!
:-)

Will be posting soon, LOADS has happenned in the last few weeks, and I'll tell all who want to know about it tommorrow...

I'm sooooooo pleased to be back!!

YAY!

I've not posted for a while... I've not been very well, worse luck. I'm on new tablets now, and they're making me VERY drowsy during the day, which means I'm tired at night, but not sleepy!!
