Nuclear Chocolates!!

They do exist.

Honestly.

In fact, the proof is sitting on my desk right this minute.

To explain....

One of my colleagues gave me some Chocolate Liqueurs for Christmas.

Basically, on tasting them, I think what actually happenned at the factory that made them was this:

Worker 1: I'm bored of this crap, every day boxing these stoopid chocs...
Worker 2: Yeh, know what you mean...
Worker 1: I got an idea!!
Worker 2: Wot?
Worker 1: let's forget all this liscencing crap and jus pour the alchohol straight in and be done with it, let's make these chocs the most potent ever as defiance of our crap working hours... Let's make this an "up yours" statement to the managment, that workers in decades will say to each other, "do you remember when...?"
Worker 2: Nah... let's just do it 'cos it's fun and we're bored of this crap...
Worker 1: Ok then

And that's what happenned.

I bit into one and pure alchohol dribbled down my chin and froze on my stubble. I know it was alchohol 'cos my chin went numb. I had three of the Teachers Scotch Whiskey ones, and five minutes later swore I could see a pig flying past the window an waving, singing "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life"....

I was woken up by a beeping noise... Oh yes that's my keyboard keys getting stuck again... but why? Oh...

(raises head from his keyboard)

Man... those chocolates are something else...

Heeding The Warning...

This is an actual conversation I had this weekend with Adele...

Beware those of you who are single males, this could happen to you...

Adele: Ok, you need to understand the rules of this relationship...
Jm: Huh?
Adele: (more forcefully this time) The rules!!!
Jm: (slightly worried but hiding it) Okay?
Adele: This will be a love triangle of priorities...
Jm: (confused) It will?
Adele: Yes. First, it's God, then James, then you.
Jm: (really worried now) Ok, but... Who's James????!
Adele: (points slowly to a teddy aparently sleeping on her pillow) Him.
Jm: (thoroughly relieved but confused) Oh...

Need I say more?

2005: Year Of ...

  1. Spanish Learning. - I've decided to try and learn spanish. I've got a CD-ROM with voice recognition which tells me how I'm pronouncing stuff... so let's wait and see...
  2. The Adoring Boyfriend - Just got a new Girlfriend, so gonna try and be more romantic and think of ace, original presents I can give her on Feb 14th.
  3. Decorating - Am determined to decorate my room AND re-paint it this year, AND throw out 2 bookshelves, AND make room for a small couch.
  4. Slimming - Have decided I'm putting on weight again, (9 an 3 quarter stone!) and am gonna try and lose some.
  5. The Wardrobe makeover - I've loads of clothes, 90% of which I don't wear any more, and need to sort through an give away.
  6. The Consistent Haircut - I like my purple an white hair, and have decided to keep it, so need to keep it consistently spiky, this involves regular monthly visits to the Hairdressers.
  7. The Shrinking Brain - Im hopefully starting a leadership training home grown course in my church after Easter, which will involve lots of studying that I haven't done for years... YAY!
  8. Early Nights - Have decided I spend far too much time on the net, staying up too late. Will try and get some sleep this year, which will be difficult considering having a Girlfriend who's based in London till September and is on MSN...
  9. Serious Rock Noise - Have decided after a year off, to ressurect my band. Already have a replacement bassist and lead guitarist in mind, and the drummer has signed up for action, and the rythmn guitarist and lead singer is me... so I think I've got that one down...
  10. Being Thoughtful - have been really selfish this year, am gonna try and be a bit more considerate of others, especially in my church, and in my family... (aaarrggghh! hard one!)
  11. Blogging - Gonna' try and consistently blog and be more interesting!! We shall wait and see on that one!!

Well... Thats my list.

Thankyou for listening!

Er.......

Just to clear up the confusion...

I asked her out, not her and her parents!!

lol lol lol

Just re-read my post an thought I'd add this addendum!!

*runs away laughing manically in delight...*

Happy New Year!!!

God is Good.

It seems fitting that I start the New Year with thanks to Him, as He's given me so much.

This New year in 2005, he's given me a girlfriend as well!!!

I'm so gob-smacked that she said yes! She has strawberry blonde hair, and greenyblue eyes, and is so beautiful she takes my breath away. (I told her this frequently, so much so that she went red... lol)

I can't really put a pic up, cos she'd kill me... (lol) but trust me, she's outstandingly gorgeous!!

I'm also happy to report I haven't forgotten how to snog... ;) lol lol lol

I asked her out on a weekend away for the New Year with her parents in Bala N Wales, I'll post some pics of places we visited.

I'm so excited and happy I can't contain myself!

:-)

I hope God richly blesses all of you who read this for the coming year.
